The privacy policy

The privacy policy sits at /privacy_policy. The sign-in screen and the registration screen both link to it, and the cookie banner links to it too.

You accept the policy when you sign in, and when you register. The screens say so above the button.

Read the policy for the full statement: what the Portal collects, how long it keeps it, and what you can ask for.

Cookies

The Portal shows a cookie banner at the first visit. Press Got it to accept it. The banner links to the privacy policy, which lists the kinds of cookie in use.

The Portal needs a cookie for the session. Without it the server cannot tell one signed-in browser from another, and you cannot stay signed in.

Your card

The Portal does not store card numbers. Stripe takes the card, holds it, and charges it. The Portal keeps only the identifiers that let it ask Stripe about your subscription.

See Payment settings for the screens where Stripe lets you change or remove a card.

Where your data is

The data of an instance stays on its own machine. That machine stands in the region that you chose at activation. The Portal does not move it to another region.

The Portal destroys the machine and its disk when a subscription ends. See End an instance.

Your rights

The privacy policy names the rights that you hold over your data, and it gives the address to write to. Support answers requests about an account. See Support.
